Over 300 students, their parents and various distinguee guests were present in the function “AAWHAN SLC AWARD 2065” held by AAWHAN SAMUHA at Pashupati Mitra Ma Vi ground dated in 21th Bhadra 2065. The function was a great success as more than 300 students who is the residence of Ward No. 7 and secured at least First Division in the SLC exam held by HMG in the year 2064 were felicitated.

This is the 16th times that this non profitable social organization has organized this kind of program, to boost up the self confidence of the student and to encourage them. This program was even important for the former president of this organization Mr. Ravi Kumar Mannandhar as this was his last program, as the new executive body was formed after this program.

This program was run under the co-ordination of Mr. Aayoush Bhadur Neupane. Due to the effort and contribution of all the members along with supports from our sponsors this program has raised the name of Aawhan to that extends where it had never been.

Aawhan Samaha is the social organization which was established in 2046 B.S. and started to felicitate the student who passed their school level certificate (SLC) since 2050 B.S. Its main aim is to promote art, literature and social work among the people. In the process of doing so it has conducted many programs but the most popular program of Aawhan is “Aawhan SLC Award”.

This year Aawhan conducted 16th “Aawhan SLC Award 2065” with a grand success giving award to more than 300 students residence of Ward No. 7 securing more than 60% (i.e first division and distinction). Along that it gave away Rs.10,000 scholarship each for government school topper boy and girl. As per our traditions we have declared the name of the top 10 students of Ward No 7. This year there was the tough competition to enter in top 10.

To make this program a grand success the role of our sponsors was really vital. Kumari Saving and Credit Co-operative Ltd. was the main sponsor who gave Rs 10,000 each for local school toppers, one for boy and another girl and general token of remembrance to other students. DG Click who printed the Letter of Appreciation and Superhouse Rental who gave all the required materials to make the program a successful must be given special thanks. Along with them we would like to give all the local donors who gave support financially, special thanks for supporting us to organize such a mega event.
